Amazing App!
I have been using this app for a little while now and love it so far! Way more user friendly being an App you can use anytime/anywhere and easy to browse other astrophotographers. I don’t see anything else but space objects! No ads or annoying distractions. The search feature is great. When I’m working on an image and not sure how little or much I want to stretch, I open the app and look how others are doing it. Definitely worth giving this app a chance! You won’t regret it!

No Compression! User Friendly
Picastro doesn’t compress photos so you get to see them exactly as they were intended to look. The UI is easy on the eyes and even easier to navigate. There is a yearly subscription fee but it’s worth it to not see any ads.

It’s way better than Threads, Facebook, IG, Astrobin, and Twitter for sharing astrophotography. It’s also secure(can’t screenshot or download images), and not governed by an algorithm that pushes only “popular” posts.

Brilliant app dedicated for the astrophotographer
This is such a brilliant app from the wonderful Tom. So many great features such as letting you see images in excellent resolution, as it should be. The difference between this and Instagram for example is night and day in terms of quality. Shows you images as they should be viewed, in glorious detail! Also an anti-screenshot feature protecting your image from copyright etc. star cards allow you to see what the photographer used to capture the image, and the exposures and amount of time etc. Just brilliant! Every deep sky imager should have this app (:

A must for Astrophotographers
If there’s one thing that every astrophotographer have in common with other astronomers than it is to share their work. What’s a better way to share it directly with the own community? That’s what Picastro does. And it’s a good way how you can share your images. The fullscale resolution, the equipment you use, difficulties you want to share with others…. And at last, connecting with other people that share the same passion like you. Clearly a must have for every astrophotographer!! Congratulations to the team that helped making this app, you nailed it!!
