Heart of the Heart nebula

A deep sky object imaged from my back garden — How did I do it?

This is my longest integration so far on this deep sky object at around 23 hours. I have uploaded this to the Picastro app so you can se it in full hi resolution with NO compression, but here is how I did it.

I used my monochrome camera setup to capture this wonder of our night skies. It is of course Melotte 15 or Heart of the heart nebula which is in the Monecoros region of the night sky.

I remember the sky being clear for a while, so I decided to set up my telescope equipment in my back garden. This time though it did say sealer long enough for me to grab a total or around d7 hours per filer on this object over three nights, practically unheard of on the west coast of Scotland, LOL.

Th seeing was particularly good those three nights, and I was so keen to star to process this one.
